Ride a Pet gear currently revolves around radars. Each radar tracks a specific egg rarity, so the right purchase depends on your target egg rather than the size of your budget.

Choosing the right radar
Check the egg's rarity first, then buy the matching radar. Advanced Radar is the cheapest starting option, but it only makes sense when you are looking for Rare Eggs. If the target is Mythic, save for Magic Radar instead of buying several lower tiers.
A more expensive radar is not documented as having better range, covering every lower tier, or improving hatch odds. Its listed job is simply to find the assigned rarity.
The Eggs page spells the highest rarity as Etheral, while the Gears page uses Ethereal. Both refer to the top tier associated with Eternal Radar.
Using a radar
- Identify the rarity of the egg you want.
- Buy the radar assigned to that rarity.
- Follow the live radar indicator around the map.
- Confirm the egg's name and rarity before spending more resources.
The source does not give a scan radius, duration, cooldown, or exact indicator behavior, so the current game interface is the best guide once the radar is active.
Auto-Buy and purchase behavior
A purchased radar cannot be toggled on or off. The Gears page also mentions an Auto-Buy switch that restocks a radar when it becomes available.
Before enabling Auto-Buy, confirm which radar it applies to and check the live shop price. Auto-Buy handles restocking; it does not upgrade the radar or unlock another egg tier.
